UNESCO World Heritage
This tour takes you to the unique old beech forests of the UNESCO World Heritage area.

Canopy and National Park Centre
By the ramblers' car park "Thiemsburg", the nearby Canopy Walk is worth a detour. You can get to know life in the tree tops and have a panoramic views of the woodlands in the national park.

Environmental Education Centre and Wikakiwa
Learn interesting facts about our special nature and have a short break in the bird's nest swing of the adventure playground.

Detour to Betteleiche and Ihlefeld
This 3 km detour to one of the national park's landmarks, the Betteleiche, and to the Ihlefeld with its rich history, is definitely worth a visit!

This circular cycle route passes several ramblers' car parks.
You can access it from the north, east and south: 

Coming from Mühlhausen:

Coming from Bad Langensalza:

ramblers' car park "Thiemsburg"

Coming from Eisenach:
