What's there to see?
Environmental Education Centre UBiS
Young naturalists are very welcome to explore the UBiS, a perfect place for inquisitive minds. From March to October 2017, the UBiS opens its doors for all interested visitors on the following Sundays: 5 and 19 March/2, 16 and 30 April/14 and 28 May/11 and 25 June/9 July/6 and 20 August/3 and 17 September/1, 15 and 29 October.
You are invited to drive our national park rangers crazy with your questions about the animals, plants and mushrooms that can be found in our national park.
Wildcat Woodland for Kids Wikakiwa
Go and climb our "jungle gym", play and relax on the adventure playground.
Go for a walk
See our nature for yourself on a short, medium-length or longer walk: Germanischer Kultpfad (2 km), Qualitätsweg Hünenteich (5.5 km) or Saugrabenweg (10 km).
Ramblers' car pak "Am Zollgarten"

Several information centres can be visited along the route. You find interesting exhibitions on the nature in Hainich National Park there as well as a selection of maps and other information material.
