Hütscheroda Information Centre in the Wildcat Barn
The focus here is on the most famous inhabitant of the national park, the wildcat. In addition, visitors find information on the "European Safety Net for the Wildcat" and the UNESCO World Heritage Hainich National Park.
Opening hours
1 April to 31 October
open every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
1 November to 31 March
open on Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
During the Thuringian school holidays in this period also open on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
(closed on 24 December and 31 December)
