Travel back in time and discover eight sanctums of the Germanic people on the Germanischer Kultpfad.
Don't expect any genuine historical sites with reconstructions of artifacts though. Rather, you will come across interesting stations which demonstrate that in past times, too, the primeval woodland was part of the Germanic lifeworld, a world that is documented in the Opfermoor Museum near Niederdorla with finds from the Opfermoor, a prehistoric and protohistoric sacrificial bog.
You can start your walk from either the ramblers' car park "Rüspelsweg" or "Zollgarten" and simply follow the clearly marked path.
