- If you have a magnifying glass, binoculars and an identification book in your rucksack, you can discover more on your own!
- The MITMACHEN event program includes guided tours for explorers of all ages. From April to October, ranger tours of the Thiemsburg nature trail are offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The UBiS environmental education station near Kammerforst is also open on some Sundays. Information on the Sundays of the open UBis and other events can be found here.
- Some hiking trails are suitable for visits with baby carriages. We particularly recommend the Feensteig trail, the forest promenade, the wildcat trail and the Silberborn adventure trail.
- With the"Junior Ranger Discovery Booklet", you can round off the day's experiences at home.
- With provisions, appropriate clothing, tick and mosquito protection, you're ready to go! Garbage? Into the rucksack!
