Nature Trail Thiemsburg

Mighty impressive stuff on this whistlestop tour

Starting from the ramblers' car park "Thiemsburg", you will pass the "Old Oak", with a girth of 5.45 m the mightiest tree in the national park, and walk through the species-rich deciduous mixed woodland with alder-populated marshland and historic boundary stones.

Around the Steingraben, you can see impressive meanders and interesting tree formations.

Walking along a bit further, you can discover lots of orchids in early summer.

This short circular walk is the ideal complement to your visit of the Canopy Walk and the exhibitions in the National Park Centre.
