Cosy, quaint, hearty and close to nature – the "Hainich Hut" at Craulaer Kreuz is all of that and more. It is also an ideal starting point or finish for your walk in the national park.

Some of the most beautiful circular walks start from here: e.g. Sperbersgrundweg and Wanderweg Craulaer Kreuz. The long-distance hiking trails Rennstieg and Hainichlandweg as well as the Yellow Route cycle trail pass by Craulaer Kreuz. Choose from refreshments including hearty country food, home-baked cakes and a shandy. The "Hainichbaude" is open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and after 6 p.m. with prior reservation.
